Women in Ag Programs-Minnesota

Minnesota Women in Ag Network

The Women in Ag Network at University of Minnesota Extension formed to provide educational opportunities for women involved in agriculture, to enhance their leadership, management and production abilities. It’s goal is to connect women to relevant, research-based education and to each other. Women in Ag Network events are typically a hybrid between a peer group discussion and formal class. All are welcome.

Renewing the Countryside’s Women in Ag Network

Renewing the Countryside is partnering with the Woman, Food and Agriculture Network, and numerous local partners, on expanding outreach and assistance to women farmland owners in the Mississippi River Watershed. This work includes providing information on best practices in conservation, as well as resources and assistance available to implement these practices on the land. It involves building local networks of women landowners who can support each other in their efforts.
