Kelsey Ducheneaux is a 4th generation rancher on her family’s ranch, located on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation. She also works with her family’s 501c3 non-profit, Project H3LP!, to give back to her community. Project H3LP!’s mission is to build confident tribal youth who are able to go into the world and make a difference for themselves and others.
She honed the skills to better fill this role through opportunities made possible by the Gates Millennium Scholarship Program. Through this scholarship program, Kelsey has earned her Baccalaureate Degree in Range Science (Natural Resource Management) and Masters of Agriculture in Integrated Resource Management. Kelsey currently serves as the Natural Resources Director and Youth Programs Coordinator for the Intertribal Agriculture Council.
