Nebraska Women in Agriculture

The Women in Agriculture program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln  is designed to assist women in their agricultural business. It organizes an annual Women in Agriculture Conference and partners with Annie’s Project to offer classes and workshops.

Annie’s Project

Annie’s Project – Education for Farm Women is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational programs designed to strengthen women’s roles in the modern farm enterprise.  Currently, classes are being taught in 33 states. In Nebraska, Annie’s Project collaborates with the University of Nebraska Women in Agriculture program to offer educational opportunities for women farmers and growers. Annie’s Projects foster problem solving, record keeping, and decision-making skills in farm women. Managing for Today and Tomorrow, a second level Annie’s Project course, teaches business, estate, retirement and succession planning.
