Morgan Ball is an Agriculture Communications major at Iowa State University. During the 2014-2015 school year, she assisted with Annie’s Project and the Women in Ag Learning Network. Morgan hopes to work with Extension, marketing, or journalism after she graduates in 2017.
Adriane Frauenholtz is an Agriculture Communications major at Iowa State University. Adriane joined us in fall of 2015 where she has assisted with Annie’s Project and Women in Ag Learning Network. Adriane hopes to work with journalism or marketing after she graduates in 2018.
Mary Peabody is a Community & Economic Development Specialist with University of Vermont Extension. She is passionate about working with small-scale farmers and small business owners on issues related to business planning, marketing and feasibility. She also works with rural communities on issues related to entrepreneurship and capacity-building. Mary is the founding Director of the Women’s Agricultural Network (WAgN). Throughout the year Mary can be found delivering a variety of business-related classes offered online as well as coordinating webinar series and a host of other distance learning opportunities.
Madeline Schultz joined the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Value Added Agriculture Program in 2003. Madeline provides practical agricultural business development education on topics including cooperative development, business planning, risk management, market analysis and group facilitation. Most recently, she led the development of the Managing for Today and Tomorrow farm transition planning curricula for women. Madeline is a family farmer who has personally experienced business start-ups and farm family transitions. After farming 20 years and raising five children all passionate about agriculture, Madeline earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Agribusiness and Economics in 2003 and the Master of Business Administration degree with an interest in Sustainable Agriculture in 2007 from Iowa State University.
